Twenty years ago, remodeling a kitchen in the Las Vegas Valley meant managing three separate vendors. You'd buy cabinets from a warehouse that wouldn't install them. Find a countertop fabricator who wouldn't coordinate with the cabinet company. Then hire a separate contractor to tie it all together — someone who may or may not be licensed, and who definitely wasn't talking to the other two.
